Big Smoke from GTA: San Andreas
Big Smoke is one of my favorite characters in gaming. Personally, he doesn't mean that much to me, as a character. I'm talking about what the community did with him. Everything he says is hilarious and legendary. His legendary line "All we had to do, is to follow the damn train CJ!". That line haunted many unexperienced players for many years. If you ask yourself, why I'm talking about Big Smoke? There are more and better things to write about. I wanted to be original. Something unexpected and not common.What make Big Smoke such a rememberable character? It's mostly the quotes that he says, with a great voice actor like Clifton Powell, it's consider by many one of the best voice acting that ever was done for a video game.
Big Smoke plays the role of the antagonist in GTA: San Andreas. He's considerd as your friend on the beginning of the game, while the game go's on. You get hints that he's not really your ally and he also tries to kill you mid game. After he betrays you, he joins the other gang and while not really present in the game, he still tries to get you. At the end of the game, you confront Big Smoke in his hideout and you kill him. Before he died, he revealed his motives why he betrayed you. He wanted to be rich and being remembered as the one who made it.
He will be always remembered as one of the most "unintentionally funny" antagonist in gaming history.
